The California Code of Regulations (Title 19, CCR, Division 2) and California Health and Safety Code Chapter 6.95 require that facilities using or storing hazardous materials have an operating and emergency response plan onsite to manage employees and materials in a responsible manner. TEC generates customized plans that are specific to each facility, provides training to employees, and performs monthly hazardous material inspections.
TEC’s hazardous materials compliance services extend to regular facility operations, including permitting, storage planning, and all required documentation. Supplemental closure documentation is also required when permitted facilities close their place of business or move to other locations. Engineers and geologists provide sampling and characterization for the profiling, transport, disposal, and treatment of liquid and solid waste.
