Petroleum
TEC Accutite builds petroleum fueling facilities from the ground up.
With our extensive knowledge of fuel tank and line installation,
regulatory requirements, and monitoring systems, TEC constructs
state-of-the-art, safe facilities. We combine our expertise in the
design and construction of fueling facilities with knowledge of
seismic engineering to serve our clients. TEC builds fueling systems
designed to allow for differential ground movement and settlement.
Our knowledge stems from hands-on repairs to fueling systems damaged
during the 1989 Loma-Prietta earthquake, and from extensive testing
under SB 989. The experience gained from the analysis of the failure
modes, from these events allows our project managers and field crews
to provide sound value engineering during the construction or
retrofit phase of a project.

Seismic Retrofit
We expanded our construction division to include seismic
retrofitting of buildings for risk management and financial gain. As
building codes have changed over the years by increasing design
criteria to withstand future seismic events, TEC has adopted a
retrofit program to help our clients upgrade their real estate
portfolios.
We perform cost analysis of the designs to assure that
the client’s expectations are met. We have worked with the latest
hardware that exceeds the current building codes.

Tenant Improvements
TEC has acted as General Contractor on tenant improvement projects
for private and public owners. TEC estimates, schedules and
coordinates the work, and provides overall project management.
Tenant improvement work includes demolition, rough and finish
carpentry, mechanical, electrical, finishes, voice and data cabling,
and digital video security.
